Trust and Identity Updates

Trust and Identity newsletterThe inaugural issue of the Trust and Identity newsletter was published in late July. This publication combines monthly newsletters that were produced by InCommon and the TIER Program (Trust and Identity in Education and Research). Highlights include new baseline practices for InCommon participants, information about the latest TIER software release, and a list of new community working groups and their scopes of work. Consider subscribing.

TIER has issued a call for proposals for the Campus Success Program, for those interested in deploying the TIER software components and helping accelerate community adoption. As part of the program, TIER will provide training and other benefits to the campus, while the campuses provide documents and other artifacts of their development and adoption experience. See the details on the wiki.

Trust and Identity Services has launched a new technical advisory committee, Community Architecture Committee for Trust and Identity (CACTI). CACTI is a standing architecture strategy group of community members, chartered by Internet2's Vice President for Trust and Identity. The committee selected Chris Phillips, CANARIE, as its first chair. For more information, and a list of CACTI members, please visit the wiki.
