The NET+ Google Workspace for Education (formerly G Suite Enterprise for Education) service evaluation was completed last year. It included a security, identity, accessibility, and functional evaluation of the platform by Arizona State University, Cornell University, Indiana University, Old Dominion University, Rice University, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, University of North Carolina – Greensboro, and Wake Forest University.

Through the NET+ offering, eligible subscribers can take advantage of the custom NET+ Google Workspace for Education offering, which includes discounted fees for the Workspace for Education editions, as well as custom storage options.

We covered the NET+ GWE offering during a webinar held on June 22 and the recording is available to anyone interested in learning more about it. Detailed information about eligibility and the NET+ Google Workspace for Education offering can also be found in the Frequently Asked Questions document.

Internet2 is convening the institutions subscribed to the NET+ Google Workspace for Education offering to form a community to share use cases, best practices in deployments, and success strategies for broad adoption that help institutions improve how they operate and serve students, faculty, and administrators.

Amplified IT and Burwood were selected as resellers with input from the participating higher education institutions for NET+ Google Workspace for Education (NET+ GWE).

Internet2, in collaboration with the NET+ GWE service evaluation group, members of the Research University CIO Conclave (RUCC), and other members of our higher education community negotiated the NET+ GWE service offering to be tailored to the higher education community in the first part of this year.
