Course Overview
Take a deep dive into the AWS security features and services available to help secure your AWS environment and continue your development as an AWS Security Professional.
During this course, campus cloud administrators will learn to facilitate authentication and authorization for AWS services. Participants will also use relevant hands-on lab exercises and follow self-paced coursework to set up a solid understanding of the security components associated with AWS services, such as Virtual Private Cloud, CloudTrail, and user management.

Course Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will have a foundational understanding of AWS security, enabling them to confidently start using AWS services with the necessary security measures in place.
- Identify the security features and responsibilities when using the AWS Cloud
- Set up and manage access control and authentication using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Implement logging and monitoring using AWS CloudTrail
- Securely use Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) for data storage
- Configure and secure Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances
- Create and manage Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments
