TIER Production Candidate Release Ready for Download and Testing

We are pleased to announce that the latest TIER Production Candidate Release is now available for download and testing. Your feedback on the release is the key to the TIER program’s next steps. Read this blog post to learn about the TIER release, including how to  download, test and share your feedback on it.

From Kevin Morooney, Internet2 Vice President for Trust and Identity

“We’d like to extend a special note of thanks to the TIER Packaging Group, led by Jim Jokl of the University of Virginia, for producing the first iteration of the Production Candidate on schedule! Jim’s work with the team of campus professionals as well as the commercial service partners has moved the initiative forward toward our long-term goal of sustainability and supportability in producing a “standard” release package. We want to acknowledge that this was no small feat and the accomplishments of this team will result in a multiplier effect that benefits the campuses who no longer need to do all of the heavy lifting when deploying these components.”

Here’s a special shout-out to The Ohio State University, the very first TIER investor campus to download and provide feedback on the new TIER Production Candidate Release. The TIER team looks forward to receiving feedback on the TIER Production Candidate Release from all TIER Investor Schools and beyond. Your feedback is the key to making continuous improvements and meeting the community requirements.
